Review of The Hunger (1983) by Natasha S — 08 Jan 2008
The aesthetic of this film is so detailed and the themes are so deep. bowie is one of the greatest actors ever I still implore. catherine deneuve is so effortlessly cool. I love her. susan sarandon is a little too 80s for me in this film but I love her as well, just for being susan sarandon. this is a great movie - one to go on my favourites list.
Exploitive nudity. bauhaus performing 'bela lugosi's dead' in the intro! wickedly goth. and so so hot I must say.
Delves a bit more into the subject of growing old versus remaining young forever. would you? would you really? if it meant you would be alone forever?
