Features great visuals, a good soundtrack, and some new and interesting ideas about vampires, but these strong points are hurt by a lack of conflict and interesting characters. The ending makes no sense considering the choice Susan Sarandon made.
Kudos to David Bowie for giving his character pathos and depth.
