Review of The Hunger (1983) by Brad W — 21 Nov 2008
Mildly intriguing in the beginning with ultra-stylized 80's chic thing tony scott creates. but eventually style trumps substance and the characters aren't very engaging bc deneuve's interest in sarandon doesn't even border on genuine.
the lesbianism is an ornament- an element of the style as much as the uber-hip (by that time's standards) haircuts and shadowy loft spaces.
