Review of The Hunger (1983) by Will A — 08 Jul 2009
A stylish, sensual, over-the-top neo-vampire movie that deserves its cult status for style, pacing and camera work alone. The film is uneven though, Bowie is electrifying whenever he's on screen but when he's not the story loses whatever momentum it had.
Recommended for Bowie fanatics and vampire lovers, but hardly for anyone else.
