At the roots of transgender vampire mythology (both in good and evil). Perhaps crucial in establishing the modern portrait of the monster, 80ies imagery exalts postmodern obsessions only then manifest: fear of age, fear for the integrity of the body, fear of contamination, fear of sex deviance.
