Tony Scott's (Ridley's younger brother, he really didnt do much after this, like TOP GUN, etc...(grin!)) debut on the screen and one of the best Vampire films ever produced. Whitley Striber's source novel's character's Miriam is one of the most vivid, sexual and exciting characters ever placed in literature.
Loved both the book and movie.
