Review of The Human Stain (2003) by Alberto Z — 14 Sep 2012
I was watching this film lately one night and I thought it was actually surprisingly really good. But since it got all these bad reviews, I think that this movie is definitely underrated. The story is about a professor named Coleman Silk who finds his life unraveling at the same time with a writer named Nathan Zuckerman who is researching on Silk's biography begins to dig deeper into his biography.
Coleman soon exposes an affair with young married janitor named Faunia as he struggles to keep his greatest secret he's held for the majority of his life, from becoming public. You can see it's a pretty complicated story with all these huge relationships going on in this movie but that's what makes this movie so good.
Some or most people think that the actors are miscast which is false. I think that the actors were casted fine. Overall like I said previously, this movie is an underrated film to be witnessed by mankind.
The Human Stain gets a 7.8/10.
