I'm bored with all the films I'm showing this semester. There are some great scenes in this one, though, like when the kid finds the hula hoop. He's awesome. I also enjoy how the hitting stuff in Mr Deeds Goes to Town was transferred from Gary Cooper to Jennifer Jason Leigh.
She's always smacking somebody - as a fast-talking career gal should. Finally, I this might be where the term "hipster" originated. My random observations mean one thing: I'm ambivalent.
