Review of The Hudsucker Proxy (1994) by Tenealle U — 06 Mar 2008
An underrated gem, this offering from the Coen brothers is both funny and engaging.
Tim Robbins handles his role perfectly, and though it sort of feels like Jennifer Jason Leigh is trying to play Katherine Hepburn, she also handles the performance well, but Paul Newman is the standout as the corporate overlord with an agenda.
Another goal for the Coens, even if it was a commercial flop.
