Review of The Hudsucker Proxy (1994) by Sarah W — 29 Jun 2008
Its agreat movie. not as good as anything they before but then again they tried to do a big budget movie that would appeal to the majority, it was a flop but you learn from your mistakes. they did for sure but its a very clever plot and there's never a dull moment especially with these kind of visuals.
Tim robbins is charming and will really make you laugh and paul newman is amazing as usuall and jennifer jason leigh does an extremely good job! its a comedy but its nowhere near as funny as raising arizona, or even as charming.
characters are a lot less flatter here than in previous coen brother movies so don't expect anything profound. but its well worth the time to watch, especially for younger people.
