A worthy watch but fellow Coen fans are likely to be underwhelmed. Despite Tim Robins and Jennifer Jason Leigh's deliciously exaggerated performances the comedic moments are never as outrageous as the Big Lebowski nor as dark as Fargo.
There are however some beautifully shot scenes and moments of invention that make it worth a viewing.
