This movie is a throwback to films like Rosemary's baby and the exorcist where suspense builds true terror. Made in 2009 by Ti West the film is 'based on a true story' set in 1983. While its definitely a horror movie that is full of violence and gore the masterful way the suspense is crafted is the major high point of this film.
