This is one movie that has certainly carved a picture in my mind with its remarkable beauty of the sand dunes coupled with a simple yet powerful storyline. House of Sand explores the determination of a young mother whom despite having lost all hope of getting back to the outside world, has never given up hope that she will be able to get her mother and daughter out of the barren place that they are stuck in.
