The house has good bones.

Thunder is abandoned as a kitten after his family is forced to move from their home. He stumbles upon a "haunted" house then ends up being owned by a magician where he keeps his pet mouse, rabbit, and magic troop. At first, the kitten doesn't fit in; but over time, the kitten will do his best to help the magician and his friends keep their home the way the kitten's previous family could not.

"He was such a nice kid. What happened to him?".

Jeremy Degruson and Ben Stassen, who worked together on Fly Me to the Moon, A Turtle's tale 1 & 2, and Haunted Castle, collaborate again to deliver Thunder and the House of Magic. The storyline for this picture was interesting but kind of gets clumsy towards the end (it starts amazing but falls apart when the magician is in the picture less). The animation style is beautiful, absolutely stunning, and amongst the best animation I have ever seen.

"This property is off limits!".

We came across this film on Netflix and had to see it. The majority of this film is a 10/10 and we were mesmerized by the animation style. I was disappointed about 75% of the way through the film how ridiculous some of the scenes became in the house, but the film does contain some wonderful artwork and real magic. I strongly recommend watching this and would consider adding it to you DVD collection.

"I'm just looking for a place to stay.".

Grade: B+.
