Call me crazy but I personally think this movie is hilarious. I don't like movies that try to be funny and aren't (ahem Grownups) but this actually made me laugh a lot. I think it's Carrie Mae's body language that did it.
Like when Shelly is showing the Zetas how to flirt and she reminds Carrie Mae to wear deodorant when she's talking to a guy and she says "I know" and does this hilarious head movement. I don't know why but that makes me laugh a lot.
I also like the part where Shelly thinks that a brothel is a place where you make soup.
