Review of The House Bunny (2008) by Helen B — 09 Mar 2010
I watched this film because I liked Anna Faris in FAQ about time travel. I think that was a mistake. Anna Faris is a good actress in that she makes any of her roles funny, but this film's whole story is just sooooo strange, and lacking in quality.
It could have been a good film if it mocked the whole premise of the playboy bunny, but it in a way complimented it. Complimenting something contoversial makes for an easy film, which is disappointing when it could have been created with serious societal/political undertones.
