This movie is entertaining. I laughed through most of it. Sure it's predictable, but most movies are. This isn't Citizen Kane, and if that's what you were expecting then you are going to have a lot of disappointments in your life because you're not a very bright person.
Don't think too hard, just enjoy the damn movie.
