Review of The Hours (2002) by Scott F — 16 May 2010
Was okay to watch due to the array of big names lined up through this film which made impressive viewing. My only disappointment was it was not made clearer that this film was about how a book, written by Virginia Woolfe, affected three different women.
Instead I thought it was where Julianne Moore and Meryl Streep were playing out characters written by Virginia (Nicole Kidman). Despite this, and even though quite deep and dark, and based around mental health problems / suicide, it was good to watch.
