Review of The Hottie & The Nottie (2008) by Christol C — 30 May 2008
A sweet and funny romantic comedy that people have been unfair to because Paris Hilton is in it.
Joel David Moore is a real talent, excelling both at drama (the superb SPIRAL) and more familiarly in comedy. He has the awkward charm of Steve Buscemi, and I can't wait to see what he does next. Christine Lakin is great as June (the Nottie), and Paris Hilton is, in all honesty, not that bad.
If you've seen this and didn't like it, fine. But if everyone who has been ripping this film apart on the net had actually seen it, it would made $300 million at the box office. Grow up and think for yourselves, folks.
