Review of The Hottie & The Nottie (2008) by Ariel B — 04 Mar 2009
A 2008 feel good cheesy movie from start to finish, full of laughs, awkward sexual advances, goofy Joel Moore humor, and two smokin hott leading ladies. There are some sad moments but the classic love story ending makes up for the bittersweet parts.
I got to be honest I never loved Paris Hilton's work or her as a person but for some reason I fell in love with her so to speak in this role, and I will be paying much closer attention to her acting and modeling career from now on.
The make up for Lakin's character June was fantastic it was so gut wrenching and repulsive which is exactly what they were going for. Christine Lakin can sell any role but she definitely sold being repulsive at times and being cute, flirty, and beautiful the rest of the time.
Final verdict this movie is underrated and much better than I could have hoped for so I award it 5 big stars, I guess you can say it hit each one of my soft spots.
