Uglyness prevents love. If you are ugly, you are unlovable - and why ? Uglyness distorts the mind, clouds the brain. If you see an ugly person you can't think straight, cannot bring forth any other emotion other then repulsion because uglyness is an impenetrable barrier that not even the strongest of emotions can breach.
That is the moral of this film.
