Review of The Hot Chick (2002) by Erik G — 24 Jan 2012
I like this chick/teen flick. Rob Schneider's role as a man who becomes 'The Hot Chick' upon his body-switching to a girl is one funny one! That is weird and funny, but there's also drama among the fake Jessica and her friend April, which I approve.
When I saw this movie on TV in 2006 I didn't know Rachel McAdams is in it - as I had already seen her in 'The Notebook' - and playing the real Jessica (whom RS switches bodies with the magic earrings), and I was surprised that pop singer Michelle Branch was playing in a small acting part as a club DJ (yes, really).
Plus, is that Adam Sandler in a cameo appearance as a dread-locked character? That's got to be him. I would definitely like to see 'The Hot Chick' again for the comedic film moments created by a Happy Madison Production.
