Review of The Host (2006) by Stu C — 27 Nov 2010

A great monster flick that outdoes a lot of its Hollow-wood counterparts with fx that create a creature that does anything but look cheap and nasty & has some solid casting performances from all concerned... who can forget the heart-rending scene as the family meet where the memorial of all those lost to the creature?

This is one that doesn't rely on flashy fx to tell the story either and wasn't in anyway tired or dated, imo, and therefore should be seen by those looking for a decent creature feature for once!
