Review of The Host (2006) by Pol M — 07 Feb 2011
This movie was great! It's not particularly scary for a horror movie, with very little in the way of surprise or gore, and it's not particularly deep for a family melodrama, which wrestles with the horror elements as the predominant theme, but somehow those two genres come together in a way that is a lot of fun.
Some people have called this film a cross between Little Miss Sunshine and Godzilla, and that's surprisingly not far off the mark.
