Brilliant Paddy Chayefsky screenplay, and easily the equal of Network -- although not as popular. Great performances from Scott, Diana Rigg, Bernard Hughes, Frances Sternhagen, everybody really. It is from the 1970s, but not sure why that qualifies as "dates badly.
" Does Casablanca "date quite badly" to the 1940s?
