Review of The Hospital (1971) by Andrea M — 21 Feb 2011
This was a movie about madness, madness and a man who is depressed due to the instability his life is in.
Although morally cloudy this movie contains themes that are very real and reminiscent in our time today. For me this was a commentary about humanity and how people who wallow in their defeat or simply don't accept their responsibilities could be swallowed by the holes of its imperfection. However it falls short in the decisions the lead character makes before his final decision to be a responsible human being.
The script was witty and the casting of George C. Scott was another success.
