Review of The Hospital (1971) by David J — 08 Dec 2009
Despite some technically under par camera work and sound, and also despite the general lack of a clear story at several points this movie is a total delight to watch, great acting, totally unpredictable, by turns hilarious, irreverent, sad, shocking, too real to be comfortable, and cartoonish! George C.
Scott is a total power house and owns this movie! really interesting and really obvious why i'd never heard of it....how do you market a dark comedy about a hospital imploding on itself? oddly the movie seems to have been made for today's medical world rather than that of 1971.
