OK, but could have been better. Started off really well, and showed a lot of promise, but then lost focus and went off on unnecessary detours.
The romantic angle was a waste of time and ruined the movie. It also meant the movie ended up being very long - nearly 3 hours - when it could have been wrapped up in about 2 hours, and been better.
Good performances from Robert Redford, Kristin Scott Thomas and a 13-year old Scarlett Johansson in one of her earliest roles.
