Hammer's attempt to reinvent the Frankenstein series is a big misfire. Ralph Bates plays Dr. Frank as an oversexed narcissist and a pre-Darth Vader Dave Prowse as the monster resembles a bad WWF wrestler with a body wax job.
The only thing that holds up here is Kate Nelligan's cleavage.
