For me this was a rather pedestrian and uninspiring take on the frankenstein story. Its not awful and IMO Ralph bates is excellent as Victor Frankenstein but its not great either and the film rather peters out instead of ending which is rather disappointing.
It passed the time well enough but it wouldn't warrant a second viewing.
