Victor Frankenstein: The early years. Focusing on the famous baron's youth could have been a smart move for this franchise. Sadly the casting of Ralph Bates as replacement for the outstanding Peter Cushing was a mistake.
Bates comes off as annoying and uninteresting. David "Darth Vader" Prowse as the monster doesn't help things with the sloppy make-up and soulless performance. Try "Curse of Frankenstein" instead.
