Review of The Homesman (2014) by Judika W — 17 Nov 2018
I love this film for so many reasons. I found myself wanting to relate to one woman, and could not. Rather I related to them collectively because together their characters capture the harshness of the West on women, then and now.
I would have liked to fall in love with Jones' character, but then again, it is the West, and we don't hardly ever fall in love anyway.
