I thought "How could this movie be bad? It has Tommy Lee Jones, Hilary Swank and Meryl Streep in it!".
The critics here gave it 81%!
Well I have come to realize that critics are more about making themselves look smart than they are about recommending a good entertaining movie and so in this case as well as most others, you should go by the AUDIENCE rating of 52%!
This movie they say has twists and turns but all I can say is that if it has them it takes an awful long time to get to them, and at this speed the turns are not going to give you much of a thrill!
I turned this off about half way through.
Tommy Lee Jones should stick to his day job (acting) and not try to be a director.
IMHO.
If you love westerns and don't mind SLOW, you might like it but I think most will do well to take this one off their lists.
