It's alright, not very touching though. IMO, the narration/storyline is a little plain, that sometimes I'm not quite sure what the director wants to show me/the audience. Anyway, Joan Chen's given a good performance, but is this better than Tang Wei's in Lust Caution & giving her a Golden Horse Award? Well, I doubt it.
