Review of The Holy Mountain (1973) by Richard D — 14 Aug 2010
Alejandro Jodorowsky's The Holy Mountain is a film focused on creating and understanding ideas through images. Jodorowsky's visuals are stunning and unique and make visual sense of a simple story for enlightenment.
Sometimes a plot tries to get in the way of the images, and while it's certainly a fine story, you could really see the potential for this to have been done without any words.
