Review of The Holy Mountain (1973) by Grant C — 01 Aug 2010
The wonderful film magician Alejandro Jodorowsky from Chile must be the auteur of all auteurs. In "The Holy Mountain" he directs, acts, writes, does the costumes, paints the settings and composes some of the music.
And the result is once again breathtakingly beautiful, just as disturbing and truly, truly one of a kind. Yes, this is indeed revolutionary film making and more than twenty five years later this film still stands just as unique.
A masterpiece.
