Review of The Holy Mountain (1973) by Robert B — 25 Jul 2009

I watched this one with interest, next to 'El Topo' it is visually the most interesting movie of Jodorovsky. Apart from being anti-christian, anti-catholic or even anti-religious, it is full of banal remarks.

Just some new age mumbo jumbo. Still for me it is utterly interesting to see that people were actually producing such movies in 70s and nowadays its not really happening - to me it always seems that there was much more artistic freedom during that period.
