Review of The Holy Mountain (1973) by Roy P — 05 Jan 2008
The surrealism is excellent and the moments of comedy are top-notch, but it's not a movie I personally care for all too much (as expected - although I did enjoy it more than I thought I would). I also feel that it's actually a bit too deep in religious symbolism .
..which detracts from my personal score. I realize that's a poor criticism, but I'm not at all a religious person (nor am I too good at interpreting really deep meanings), so I can't really give it too high of a score.
6.5.
