Review of The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies (2014) by Anarion — 17 Dec 2014
An awesome ending to an already brilliant saga. While I will admit the battle was somewhat lacking, the scene with the dwarf wall, and then the elves jumping over was just too epic. Also, small references back to the original trilogy add some interesting points.
And lastly, that song at the end adds such a depressing note, as you finally realize that a great saga is coming to an end.
