Review of The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies (2014) by Nosnims W — 26 Feb 2016
Cried the whole time. The saga has ended, although I felt like they left loose ends with Legolas. If Jackson made a Legolas trilogy I would watch them all and probably cry too. But I'm a child of Tolkien and have seen the end of all these Peter Jackson renderings, which have only enhanced my hobbit love.
As much as Sean Parker sucks, I can see how he loves hobbits. I'm trying to understand objectively why the critics scored this movie so low and planet of the apes so high, and it's not happening.
Once again the masses show their ineptitude of good taste. My life is richer for this movie as it was with the book as a kid.
