Review of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012) by Matthew D — 16 Feb 2017

Very cool Middle-Earth film with great characters and action. Great effects, acting, and story. However the film does start out slow and the actual adventure doesn't start for a good 45 minutes. And I also heard that the book isn't even that long of a book.

So making 3 films that are all 3 hours long is stretching it out a bit much, but they definitely improve in the second film that make it worth the long running time and I cannot wait for the third and final film.
