Review of The Hobbit (1977) by Claire R — 24 Mar 2014
First saw this in 1989 with my husband and our children and I fell in live with it. The songs are catchy especially "Where there's a whip there's a way" sung by orks when they are off to war.
" Where there's a whip, there's a way. Where there's a whip, there's a way. Where there's a whip; We don't want to go to war today but the lord of the lash says ney, ney, ney! We're gona march all day, all day, all day; where there's a whip there's a way.".
