As an off-and-on viewer of the TV series, I was intrigued by this movie but I had my doubts that the dry, British humor of the TV series (and the book) would translate well to the big screen. I was pleasantly surprised.
This movie is a classic British comedy in the tradition of Monty Python's Holy Grail and, except for a few slow moments, it had me laughing non-stop.
