The Rutger Hauer version is better and the story isn't nearly as poor. Sean Bean tries his usual best to be a great baddy (as always) but when your basically doing a remake of a far superior film with instances clearly stolen from other superior films (Road Kill, Duel, Wolf Creek) there really is no reason to bother.
