Review of The Hitcher (1986) by Willem W — 05 Nov 2007
One my favorite movies. Captures the fear of travelling on the open highways. Rutger Hauer plays a villain that seems unstoppable, but not unrealstic. Highlights: the french fries scene, and a scene where Hauer drops a match at a gas station and the camera follows it down in close-up.
Unecessarily remade.
