Review of The Hitcher (1986) by Gareth M — 13 Oct 2008
In many ways a typical eighties film, the way the squad cars fly off the road in comic fashion is akin to A-team or blues brothers. Very cool bad guy (the cuddly toy scene, brilliant), vs boyish kid. The pschylogical stuff doesnt wash with me but indeed the kid could be thick; but the horror are this nutter stalking you works wonders.
Ending a slight cop out mind.
