Starring post-Blade Runner Rutger Hauer, he plays the sadistic murderous hitchhicker John Ryder.The movie starts as Jim Halsey is struggling to stay awake. He pickes up the hitcher on route to deliver a car, hoping that a person in the car can help him stay awake on journey unwittingly gets into a dangerous cat and mouse game.
Bodies pile up as he is framed for various crimes as he is then brought in as it is clear that he is now in a confrontation that only one can survive.
