Not a good time at the movies, ill admit it was one of the first of films whose villains have no backstory, motives, itd spawn anton chigurh and the joker, tho those were done way better. here, ryder seems to make his "motives" up as he goes and can be everywhere at once it seems, and exactly the right time.
its still a creepy performance tho.
