You can tell this is taken straight from the stage as it's unnatural script is very, VERY pretentious. Actually, to be fair it's just very intellectual and upper-class but it comes across ponsy.
The thing that bugged me the most was the unusual way the film handled the character of the sexual devient teacher?! WTF... "He's a seedy paedo but oh well, he knows lots of poems so what the hey we love you!".
Weird. It's an ok film but did not make me want to see the show on stage.
