Review of The History Boys (2006) by Sean S — 17 Jul 2012
I was a little offput by its integrated-student approach to the boys' subject material, but that's the only gripe I had with it. I was a little apprehensive at first, thinking that the "Richard Griffiths fondles boys" storyline was unexplained, but it was handled well and with a real approach.
Everything worked with the film, and the cast, onstage and onscreen, have a real energy and infectious rapport.
